Default Battleship Bismarck "Workshop Manual" coming in January 2015

Well, you know what they say, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. That U-boat "workshop manual" Haynes put out in September was the worst submarine book I've read since Scorpion Down. Still, i really enjoy most of Haynes' publications, and their recent book on the Type 45 destroyer was really good. I'm tempted to ask if I can acquire a review copy somehow.

You know, I'm not really big on bumping old threads, but I finally got around to buying this book...

And it's decent. Not terrible, not amazing, but decent. It's better than Haynes' gawdawful U-boat manual, but nowhere near as their better naval & maritime books, like the ones on the HMS Victory, Type 45 destroyer, and A-class submarine. It would probably make a decent introduction to anyone getting seriously interested in the ship, but as a certified naval geek, I found it kind of disappointing.

My review, if anyone's interested: https://www.amazon.com/review/R2EJFG...cm_cr_rdp_perm
