Not so much a naval influence here, [ although the subject of the exercise did have his beginnings in the German Navy [ then, the REICHMARINE ], as it is yet another new WW2 theatrical release based on the operation [ ANTHROPOID ] to kill Holocaust architect Reinhard Heydrich.
This saga has it all. Czechs, the British, horsehair, grenades, wrong turns, salt, and the Bible, along with the singular presence of one playboy monster, the regime that he served, and the valiant men who volunteered to deal with him.
