Default Need Help With Submarine Book Series

I need some help trying to identify a series of books I remember seeing in a used book store back in the late 1980's.

This was a fictional series with numerous novels, all about the US submarine force during World War 2. The thing I remember were the cool looking covers. I wish I had purchased some at the time but never did.

Any help in identifying is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks, but this was a "fictional" series of books based on US submarines during World War 2. Each edition had a different story. I don't remember if it was the same fictional sub in each book or if it was different. I do remember it had two titles, the main series title and the title for each specific edition.

Ok, you do not remember any name or it has gone to see a film or television?

No, I can't remember any title, but it was never made into a movie or TV, just a series of books.
