[REL] Multiple UIs for SH5 with TDC - Page 777

tried too to reinstall directx in my widows 7 but it says it cant be reinstalled. I also tried to integrate dx9 updates but it wont let me. i hope that i get black user charts cause of this, cause am tired to find what is wrong. Now about fix , i hope someone has a solution. (win7 sp1 dx11)

EDIT: Found the solution ( i guess i should have read things more carefully). I run the game as administrator and everything works more than fine.

Hi Guys
Good to know you are both up and running ok now.

By the way if, you do a uninstall the re-install will put Direct X back on as part of the re-install.

Would it be possible to move the Tool Tip away from the mouse pointer a little bit?

The Tool Tip can some times cover the Tool Helper.

Could someone explain to me how to see the speed and ship identification charts? I cannot find them anywhere.
Is there any shortkey to toggle them up?

What mods are you using?
Post #9 JSGME How To Export Your Mod List To A Subsim Post
You need to lock on to the target by using the space bar.
This will open the TDC
Shortcut key E will show the recognition manual.
You can look through the manual and send the mast height to the TDC.
Auto Ship identification will depend on the mods you are using.
If you are playing at 100% then it is all down to you.

I am using only 2 mods:

Generic Mod Enabler - v2.6.0.157
[C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\MODS]

NewUIs_TDC_7_4_2_Real_Navigation
NewUIs_TDC_7_4_2_ByTheDarkWraith

I am playing 100% realistic.

When I lock the target and press shortcut key E a dialogue box opens offering me default, shipping or speed conversion charts, but cannot see ship identification manual.

I would suggest that you use the TWOS mega mod.

Rec.manual drag tab is visible near left edge of your screen...

I am returning to SH5 after about 3 years away from it and I am trying to relearn from scratch also are there supposed to be red buttons on the speed and AOB in the TDC as I do not see them as I say its been a long time since I last played the sim any help or directions to posts would be great

Yes same res thank for that such a simple thing but when you've been away for so long its easy to forget the little things.

Can I ask if I have to fire torps from a 90 degree angle to my target?
