Hello all. I finally got the mod installed correctly but now the top left quarter of my screen is black. Any suggestions?

It looks like you may almost be installed correctly. Double check your UI settings using the OptionsFileEditorViewer.exe provided by this UI MOD located in the ~\data\Applications\OptionsFileEditorViewer folder of the MOD.

1. Exit Game
2. Disable MOD
3. Run ~\New_UI_MOD\data\Applications\OptionsFileEditorVi ewer\OptionsFileEditorViewer.exe to verify personal changes settings.
4. Enable MOD
5. Start Game
6. Verify entire screen is clearly visible.
7. If screen is not displaying correctly you may have one(1) or more configuration conflicts.

---== OR ==---

1. Exit Game
2. Run ~\SH5\data\Applications\OptionsFileEditorViewer\Op tionsFileEditorViewer.exe to verify personal changes settings.
3. Start Game
4. Verify entire screen is clearly visible.
5. If screen is working properly, copy ~\SH5\data\Scripts\Menu\TheDarkWraithUserOptions.p y file back to the MOD ~\SH5\MODS\New_UI_xx~\data\Scripts\Menu\TheDarkWra ithUserOptions.py so you have a secure backup if you need to reinstall.
6. If screen is not displaying correctly you may still have one(1) or more configuration conflicts. Back to step One.

Hello all.
I'm getting a bug when I install TDW UI 7.4.2. In the main menu some ui appears in the middle and blocking some options. I just have that mod on and without it everything is perfect. I also see the black corner like Tyrennis.

If someone could help me I would really apreciate it. Thanks!

I installed the mod following your guide. Very simple and easy, but still have the bug.

I have seen this mentioned before and there is an answer to it but unfortunately I cannot presently remember where.
Check that your game is running v1.2
This may also be a resolution problem.
Check the Game Graphic Setting resolution to your own monitor resolution.
Check that your gpu drivers are up to date
Your Gpu settings can be found in the Control Panel
Nvidia
The scaling mode needs to be set to > Aspect Ratio.
Perform scaling on > GPU

AMD
Image scaling > Enable GPu scaling
Maintain aspect ratio or Scale image to full panel size.

Hi,
Game is on 1.2 as you can see on the top of the screenshot.
I have checked and my drivers are up to date. Also the resolution on the game is set to 1920 x 1080 which is my monitor resolution however I can't seem to be able to change it. If I choose a different resolution it doesn't change it just stays the same.

I've said my amd graphics card Image scaling and maintain aspect ratio and didn't work neither.
This only happens when the mod TDW UI 7.4.2 is enabled if I dissable it and put other mods, everything works properly.

Your screen resolution 1920 x 1080 is ok for 7-4-2
7-4-2 came out when wide screen resolutions were the norm.
SH5 did not and had a much lower resolution possibly 1024 x 768.
That was in the days of VGA monitors.
When you open 7-4-2 can you see the data folder and 11 dll files?

Hello everyone my first post . I installed the mod properly but the user charts appear black to me. i checked the .dds files and seem ok, as and my directx (11). really dont know what to do as i really need the charts so to start playing real navigation. Thank you in advance for any help. (sorry for any english grammar murder).

Hello Peter,

I think I might have found the solution. For now I'm not getting the error anymore and everything else seems to be working properly.

What I did was to reinstall the Direct X from microsoft website, the link was one page before in this same thread.
