I had a bit of a lag in the first sortie, but mainly the second sortie where it kicked in,heard Oberon shouting ''I got Hunter here'' so i went to aid or hinder one of the two thats where the stutter started..one minute Hunters there and then he's gone and then the bullets came through the windscreen and the game froze up for me.
This is not a Hunter bashing, as i explained in a p.m I (we) are grateful that he does host the campaigns, and i'm sure we could all work together to find a solution.

Agreed. Normally my frame rate is fine, and last night, like I said, the frame-rates weren't too bad, but there was slight stuttering and that bizarre print-screen crash.

On that note, loaded up IL2 and a Pe-8 and dropped a FAB-5000 on a random bit of Kuban whilst taking screenshots. A slight lag on the first two screenshots, then nothing serious. My theory is the screenshot lag coupled with the ping rate to cause a time-out or drop.
That's my theory.

Back when I had 512MB of RAM I was playing a DCG Winter War mission with a decent number of planes on each side. The thing was jerky as hell at the beginning as everything loaded up.

Flying was fine but at the end of the mission when I wanted to take screeny the thing crashed.

I think many airplanes, and lag = bad framerates....

ROFL, that was hilarious. I was chasing you, Fin was behind me. Instead of shooting me, he decided to shoot you. :rotfl:Tosser, stole my kill.

TBH, I had an adrenalin rush, as you can see by the riddled windows i was taking quite a beating up,when i manouvered myself out of the line of fire and started to get my crate level again, with no ailerons,i spot a plane in the distance coming straight for me.I gave it a second or two and it made no effort to change course..so it was YIPPEEKYAY let em have it me old son ..and to my embarresment it was Oberon ''was that you that took a pot shot at me Kratos'' the voice came over T.S. sooo i made my apologies and bailed out over my airfield, and left poor Oberon with the Hamsters in his engine

Good to see it wasn't Hunter shooting his own side down.

:rotfl: :rotfl:

That was pretty funny I headed over towards you because I saw what I think were Hurris swarming around near you, I'd just tangled with one and gave it a few good burst and lost it (thinking that it had gone down or was going down...sadly the swine survived) and had some ammo left so I thought 'Well, I'll go have a tangle with them!'
Saw a plane coming the other way, and before I could ID it it opened fire and riddled me cockpit good and proper and threw oil everywhere. Then a 109 whizzed past. I paused for a moment and then put two and two together.

"Kratos...did you just shoot at an aircraft?"
"Aye, was that you?"
"...yah..."

Great shots Kratos, and no hard feelings, at least I survived, unlike Fin who got roasted in his Zero after my particular blue on blue
