game crashing problems

Hi, can any one help, in recent weeks i have updated my graphics driver to latest amd and had problems getting sh 3 to start then when it does start it crash as soon as i surface and and move out of the control room to surface view, it is clearly something to do with the resolutions that the game supports as i had same problems with sh 5 but got that to run by changing game resolutions in options but you cannot do that in sh3, any ideas please.

Hi R
You do not say what Windows version you are using.
While SH5 will run any OS without compatibility SH3 does not like Windows 10.
You need to run SH3 for Windows 10 in Windows 7 compatibility mode.
Also make sure all of your applications (any .exe) are run as administrator, this makes a big difference.

Thanks, w10, its run for 5years with no problem on w 10, it started crashing since last couple of driver updates, tried w7 comp mode and admin but still the same.

Reinstate previous driver that was working with SH3.
Have you had a recent Windows 10 update?
Windows 10 is currently going through a major update.
