I can fly anyday.

Problem is just getting others on board.

I'll download the latest files today so I'll be in a position to fly tonight. Count me in for an A-10C flight, I need to do the odd flight from time to time or I'll forget how to use the darn thing.

I think Hunter would be a tad more reluctant though, but otherwise I think we'd have a full compliment, if an advanced warning to download the latest stuff is given.

I can't d/l at the minute but will try later. Any chance of sticking a playable P-51 in?

Not been on ts for a while, still the same details?

And finally, rough times anyone? I doubt I'll get on until gone 9 GMT.

9GMT is the usual Lolwaffles flight time, that's when most people show up so I imagine that would be the same unless Arc puts the server up earlier.

Looks like I'm going to have to scrub my flight, something has gone funky. My cockpit view is juttering backwards and forwards in the Z axis, like the pilot is having some kind of seizure. I've tried clearing out the view settings in DCS:A10, I've updated TrackIR, nothing...and it's given me a headache.

TrackIR is showing no problems when I alt-tab out of it, so I suspect it's a conflicting setting somewhere, but damned if I can find it, so I'll probably just play Minecraft tonight, or Xcom since that's probably what Hunter and Raptor will do.

Right, so not just yet then.

Think I need to sort my controls still anyway. At least there's no reinstalls necessary with updates anymore.

I had set it up with 2 mustangs previously, servers are still the same and yeah it's a bit of a mess at the moment.

Sounds like a slider overriding zoom. Might be something in the axis section.

What im cooking up:

By the way guys, ive been cooking up a MP mission we could try out/test!

Situation as follows:
Russo-Georgian tensions are at an all-time high, with the recent ousting of the Russian president, the Red Army threatens to take back Georgia in hopes of restoring the Iron Curtain... The U.S. Responded to the outsting by providing Georgia with Crypto-Military gear and bolstering their military and also stationing 2 squadrons at Sukhumi AFB. The Russian spearhead consists of mainly of BTRs reinforced by T72Bs. it looks as though the Russians are looking to break through quickly to Sukhumi AFB then drive south after a resupply from the airbase.

If they take Sukhumi, it will give them an advantage because that means their bombers are in range of Ochamchira, and giving us limited air cover capabilities.

Do not allow this to happen.

Briefing:

Conduct CAP/CAS SE Of Sukhumi as you see fit.
the Russians are believed to be massing armor there for an invasion of Georgia.
if you spot ANY russian vehicle crossing the border, you are weapons hot. lock and load!
Godspeed!

ATC (SUKHUMI): 129.00 MHz AM
TANKER:100MHz AM
AWACS: 141 MHz AM

Loadout(s):
A-10C #1(HAWG): AGM-65D*6, CBU-97*2, GBU-12*2, TGP, ECM, AIM-9*2\
TASK: CAS
A-10C #2(DODGE): AGM-65G*2, GBU-38*2, TGP, ECM, AIM-9*2
TASK: BLOW BRIDGE INSIDE OF KVEMO- MERHEULI
Ka-50 #1-3 (FORD): 12x9A4172, 40xS-8
TASK: INTERDICTION
F-15C FLT #1-2: AIM-9*4, AIM-120*4,
FUEL TANK*3
TASK: CAP EAST OF SUKHUMI

(Required; DCSW / Modules: A-10C/Ka-50/FC3/CA)

mind you this is still in the works,
will take me a couple days to get everything in order.

Looks good. I've never really gone beyond setting up training scenarios.

*(if you want to close off loadout customisation, only load the airbase warehouse with what's needed. I can gaurantee you people will change their load-out if they can)

How's everyone doing regarding the ability to fly?

* aparently there's a hotfix or some such today as well. T'is downloading something at least.

It's an online activation with limited activations, 8 activations 10 deactivations, technically.

In reality with the old system on Black Shark the devs didn't make a hassle of refunding activations if you ran out. Personally I never did; owned BS from the early days. The new system on A-10C (and I think BS2) refunds an activation every month.

Never had any hassle with it.

* ah and you log in to master server for online play.
