Arclight heads back to what's left of the base following Raptors failed take-off and the carnage that occurred afterwards.

One restart later and the mission begins in earnest. Oberon reaches the bridge first as the others mull over a tank column heading for the bridge. The Archie at the target waits until the last second to fire on Oberon, leading him to think he might have the wrong target, until the sky fills with tracers. Soon, the rest of the gang arrived and the payback was dealt.

Why being the first target on the scene is not necessarily a good thing...

"Hey Schroeder...look to your left." "Wha? Uh oh..."

Bloody P-38s! MOOOOVE!! I have a respawning tank column to take out.

This time Raptor survived drifting off the runway, and so did Hunter, until he flew straight into Bird-dog...Carnage time began again...

Well it was great flying with the Lolwaffles again, and I'll be back again by I'm guessing...next week or maybe sooner as due to lack of work at work I will be laid-off soon. Thats the unfortunate side of construction but its better than being fired.

Then you'll be disappointed, as Sherwood forest is the setting for only about 5 minutes of the movie.

IMO the movie is rather enjoyable, if one ignores the jumbled mess they made out of the history of King John, the First Baron's War, the Magna Carta and all that, but it has very little to do with the story of Robin Hood...

It's probably just as well, because I'd be forever comparing with the Costner film which I quite enjoyed. I mean, Morgan Freeman as the wise Moor and Alan Rickman as the bad guy, what's not to love? ("Locksley! I'm going to cut your heart out with a spoon!").
Still, it'll be interesting how they seem to have attempted to put it all into historical context, Magna Carta and all. So we shall see.
