You make the change in the Options File Editor Viewer Ships Journal Tab

There is a noification about editing but you do not need to do this.

Under the settings tab, where it says "the path to game saves in documents" should that have a complete file path in it? mine just says "SH5"

It's the same in my settings tab (only "SH5") and everything work as it should...

Your first U-Boat designation is randomly taken from game's roster which contains all type VIIA numbers available in that time period...Next time when you restart your career you may be assigned to U-28, U-31 or even the same U-34 ect (type VIIA boats weren't so numerous)...

Use ofev to choose your own and you can even rename yourself, it's the same tab- ship journal

This has come from your TWOS v 2.0.0
It was working ok up to a few days ago.

Yes, same here... Program works fine for me although I've noticed that the stats loading time is a bit longer than before ...

Hi Vecko
I think the problem stems from recently deleting old careers.
I think it has caused some sort of corruption.
I have tried reinstalling TWOS v2.0.0 but has made no difference.
Not sure whether re-installing SH5 will make a difference or is something that needs to be corrected at Warhams end?
Latest patrol mission has updated in correctly and showing the latest v2.0.9 update in my career.

I am having an identical issue, but I haven't deleted any old careers.
