I have a problem with my nvidia card also. I have a GeForce GTX 660.
Light from the sun just doesn't look nice.
I think it's a Nvidia issue.

I have an nVidia GTX690 and everything is fine

Must be driver version or the maker of your card. Mine is an EVGA version. What driver version are you using? I'm using 314.07. I left the NVidia control panel settings as installed (I didn't tinker with them).

I have an EVGA GTX 660ti superclocked driver version 320.49 with no issues, as well. On a side note is there any amount of begging that could get you to make the exe patch for steam, TDW?

Or should I just resign myself to the fact that I will have to pay ubi twice for the screwup they made so I can get your fix.

Nope. Steam SH5 is a self-modifying form of copy-protection (unpacker) and it's a nightmare to hack (it can be done but takes an extremely long amount of time). Not worth my time when SH5 DVD version can be picked up for $5 now

That sucks. Guess I should have done better research before I bought.
