Wanted to ask you Jim, without going back through all 50 pages of this thread, lol Do you have a Lightning T-5? Was just wondering because I never heard of one before, but just got one added in my flight simulator. I guess there is also a T-55 and T-55S?

The Lightning (or Frightning as she is affectionately known by some of us in the UK) T5 (there are no other variants such as T-55 or T-55S) has never been produced as a commercial model but one modelling company produced one in limited numbers (72) and I have no 7.

The T5 (or twin-stick) is a two seat trainer and IMHO a stunning example.

I'll get her photographed later today and post a shot on here.

Can't wait to see it Jim! I got the Aerosoft Lightning F3 and now the T5 also, I miss spoke on the T55S, its listed as a T 55K, still not sure what the designation is for, but its a beautiful looking aircraft! Looking forward to seeing the version you have! Just did some checking up on it, the T55 was the export version of the T5 that was sold to Saudi Arabia, the T55K was the export version of the T5 that was sold to Kuwait. Now we both know, lol

Most prolific aircraft types by numbers collected are Lightning (Frightning), Phantom (Spook) and Tornadoes (Tonkas).
