Default [WIP] 'Seven' IL2 movie

Oookie, here we go again. Decided to FINALLY try and make an movie that is actually good and has more to it than stunts or dogfights. :p

"During opening hours of their sortie against Fortress Europe, a flight of B17s comes under attack by heavy flak. The flak takes it's toll on the B17s as on the escorting fighters too. The formation survives, but badly damaged, just to face a new threat as the flak fades away - The Luftwaffe."

Features
- 100% new sounds added in post-process, no sounds recorded from the game(s).
- Genuine B17 intercom traffic recorded from various sources.
- Huge battles (B17s flew in 3x12 wings, totalling 36 bombers).
- New special effects added in post-process. (still practising this, but I think I got it ).
- Multiple games mixed together.
- Free popcorn! (But the seats are $50)

lol, you just know that if Dowly is tellings us about a movie, that he's actually made 50-75% of it already, doubt he'll want to re-do it.

It'll never get finished.:rotfl:

Looking forward to it mate.

Haha, good guess. :p Sound mixing for the B17 gunnery scenes are almost finished, new skins ready for the B17s to correspond the ones used in B17 II. Besides, I love B17s, I dont care if there's 1000 movies made already, they are just so sexxhy!

Lol, why does it look so easy for the Hollywood guys to make movies? Been doing the opening part for a fecking 2½ hours now. This' gonna be a loooong road.

Stay tuned for Teaser #2, the B17s take off to Europe. (lol, I think I have shown you the entire movie before it's even ready. :p)

Good fun doing stuff like that, but watch out for the ten minute limit on YouTube, I had to chop quite a lot of good footage and stuff out of my Battle of Briatain 'story of R6753' one I linked on here a while ago (this one: ).

You might find the Shockwave Wings of Power II B17G for FSX useful in making close-up shots, as it is an amazing model. Their bf109E might also prove useful, although the Shockwave bf109 exterior model has got a slight error on it (I know this because I just reviewed it for AVSIM and marked it down because of that), so the 109 in BoB2 might also suffice. If you are doing a late war movie, you might find the Flight Replicas Me262 useful (just reviewed that for I've AVSIM too, been busy LOL)

As with my Spitfire one, using 'The Movies' game for close ups of crews is handy and well worth trying, as the personal touch it lends to this kind of movie makes it stand out from all the shots of planes flying around.

Shockwave Fortress and 109 and Flight Replicas Me262:

I'm gonna upload the movie to Stage6. No limits, no compression.

I was about to suggest Veoh.com as they have no limits either.

I've heard some of that sound in the teaser before. From the old american propaganda movie "Memphis Belle", am I right?
