Default german numbers order

Hi guys,

I am playing with German voices, using Sobers list, everything seems to working fine, (needed only 3 complete reinstalls..) but enabled the mod Speech fixes and additions (german version) instead of the English one in the Sober mod list.

Anyone else notice that the depth under keel is spoken in the wrong order?
It would be fine if it were English numerals, because its playing for example "Fifty", followed by "Five". In German it is played in this order as well, but in the German language (and in the Dutch, which is my language) it should be: "fünf" "undfünfzig", the number first, the decimal second. But it plays "undfünfzig" first, then the "funf".
Any way to turn this order around for German?

Thanks again to Sober and TDW for making this a great game!

EDIT: Also the bearing to target voice is in the wrong order, in English this would sound like "smoke on the horizon bearing three and fifty"

EDIT2: Nobody any idea? I know it is nothing game breaking, which is something special all be itself but still...

You also need to use this mod.

FX_Update_0_0_22_ByTheDarkWraith > folder 1

FX_Update_0_0_22_Torpedoes (modified for torpedoes failure patches) > Folder 3

Folder 1 and folder 3 are inside a Folder called Mods.

If you are playing stock then use folder 1 and folder 5.

Select the Base Folder and only 1 Patch Folder

I enabled that with the Generic Patcher like he said and i don't have these folders inside my "MODS" folder i downloaded all these Mods with these "http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=207362" thats my Mod List currently:

Hi blackcan

You have duplicated mods in your list.

English version for English speaking crew.

Speech fixes and additions (english version)

German version for German speaking crew.

Speech fixes and additions (german version)

This mod will not allow you to load a previous save.

sobers dead is dead V3 NewUIs_TDC_7_5_0 SH5

Use this link to check your mod list correct order

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=192374

If you are having problem with enabling mods look at Tutorial post #4

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=211804

Look at Tutorial post #28 and it will tell you how to check that your mods are correctly enabled or not.

Hi blackcan

Your mod order is based on sobers 1600 24092014

Sober uses English speaking crew language.

What are you using?

If you are using the German language then you either need to select the German language from the dvd custom installation or you need the German U-Boat Crew Language Pack mod.

Download link below.

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showpost.php?p=1465509&postcount=23

Place the language mod before this one >
NewUIs_TDC_7_5_0_ByTheDarkWraith

And after this one > Speech fixes and additions (german version)

In this order

Speech fixes and additions (german version)
FX_Update_0_0_22_ByTheDarkWraith
FX_Update_0_0_22_Torpedoes (modified for torpedoes failure patches)
German U-Boat Crew Language Pack

NewUIs_TDC_7_5_0_ByTheDarkWraith

I do not know why you are having the torpedo problems.

I suggest that you check your TDW Generic File Patcher and check that all 20 patches are blue enabled.

The final option you have is to untick the dud torpedo box in Game options and see if that stops it happening.

At first thank you very much for your help i appreciate that a much!

Second: yeah i already tried unsticking it but still very torpedo is dud and i'll try that with generic patcher again... cause i think i've made a mistake.

I downloaded the TDW generic patcher zip then i extracted it to my desktop.
then i opened it and selected like asked all the paths to the files (like sh5sim.act etc.) then i loaded the snapshot from sober and closed tdw patcher again. Was this wrong? or should i do it that way: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=197960

Also is the snapshot even recommned for me?

Third: yes i'm playing with german voices ill download it and edit the .mep file to what you said and thats in the right order Thanks!

Fourth:

I'm sorry but at post #28 i just find a guy who has problems with a mod not a way to look if my order is right

should i maybe try a new installation and then do it from start properly with the german language things and yeah i'm not pretty sure about that generic file patcher thing but at "Torpedos" all patched are activated

Hi blackcan

This link you are showing in your post how to install TDW’s Generic File Patcher is wrong >
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=197960

The generic patcher is not installed like this anymore.

Go to my tutorial post #2 and follow the instructions.

Step By Step Tutorials & How To Do It.

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=211804

There are now 9 patches and each one is installed exactly the same.

Just be careful that you do not open the Silent Hunter folder, only highlight it.

Make sure you disable any patches that you have enabled now.

If you have put the generic patcher in JSGME then delete it after disabling the patches.

The answer to your torpedo question is yes if you have installed the generic patcher incorrectly.

I'll try that and no i didn't installed it that way i installed it like i wrote above "I downloaded the TDW generic patcher zip then i extracted it to my desktop.

but i'll do it from scratch again so i make sure i didn't do a mistake.

Thank you very much and i hope it will work.

I have installed sobers mega mod list and I am a few missions into the game. I would like to find a way to brighten up the nights. I struggle to see the horizon let alone a ship in the inky blackness. I have experimented with gamma but it seems to wash out the rest of the game too much. I know that sobers mod soup has dynenv darker nights and I'd like to remove that but it is near the top of the list in enable order. If I disable it and enable just the no murky waters portion of it then will I cause myself a problem with it enabled as the last mod? Or, do I need to pull off all the mods up to where that darker nights is in the list, enable just the murky waters then re enable all the other mods to preserve the mod order? Will doing this harm my campaign? Thanks all in advance.

The time of year and location that the game starts off at has dark nights . They are not always dark . Try to darken the room . You mix and match the environment mods while on patrol afaik . Just add a mod with the mod enabler at the end of the mods and see if you like it . Or rewrite the MEP file how you want and then let the mod enabler do the work for you . Its easy as . Thts why I don't like mega mods , you cannot adjust to your taste easily . cheers .

Sadly i was wrong

I started a new carrer and put in the bunker everything on 0% Realism to make sure that i know "dud torpedos are not activated" but i still have dud torpedos which don't explode at all or detonate too early.

I really don't know why

i found something weird

my sh5 installation is:
C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5

and even i followed your tutorial step by step in TDW generic patcher it shows me that path:
C:\Users\myname\Desktop\Patcher\Patches\SH5\TDW_xx x.s5p

but when i open the patcher he still asks me if he shall use the path at
C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5

And i don't see proper damage on the enemy ships neither... they don't break into two, they don't get holes in the hull etc.

Something i've done wrong.

I'll explain here excactly how i installed everything:
1: i downloaded sh5 over uplay and installed patch 1.2
2: i played the tutorial with stock game
3: i installed the mod list from sober with sobers mep file and edited it (removed real navigation and dead is dead, and put german voice pack in and changed the english version to the german version)
4: i followed THEBERBSTER tutorial how to install the patches with the generic patcher from TDW
4.1: i downloaded the patcher and extract it to my desktop in a folder
4.2: i i excecute the .exe and set the paths to my sh5 folder so its highlighted but not opened
4.2: i load the snapshop from sober
5. i start a new carrer
6. in the bunker i change the realism settings
