I never watched it. It must have been very popular though seemed everywhere I looked I noticed more and more fellas sporting 'duck dynasty' beards. Probably a duck dynasty cult.

You're not alone, Eichhörnchen. I too wondered what this was after seeing the T shirts and merchandise. I don't watch TV unless it's a great documentary on animals, ships and subs, aircraft, cars or sports. I saw a few minutes of this programs and the TV went off.

I did see a few reality shows like " Ice Road Truckers " in Alaska and the exploits of Jamie Davis towing in Canada. I believe it was in Alberta. I didn't watch them a lot but they were interesting and the people were all professionals in what they did.

I watched the show once. Frankly, I did not understand the attraction.

It reminded me of the Beverly Hillbillies but it took it self too seriously.
