Default News on SB Pro PE patch

Some good news on upcoming patch for SB Pro PE from Ssnake.

New features
  • Added Night Vision Goggles.
Activate them with the usual "TIS" hotkey
  • Enabled the Hardness settings in the Terrain Themes.
At 100% hardness things look like they do right now. At 50% hardness vehicles and troops will sink in .5meters, at 0% one meter. Currently the hardness factor doesn't do anything else, so it must be combined with traction and ground resistance settings to match visuals with behavior. I recommend to use the hardness factor sparingly. Heavy mud should probably still have a hardness of 70%, fresh snow is the only case that comes to mind where a lower value is warranted.
Another possible use is to simulate the effect of high and dense vegetation, e.g. a wheat field. In the more distant future the hardness factor might also influence the effectiveness of artillery rounds with impact fuze
  • 3D interior for the Strv 122
  • Pizarro PDF manual, in English and Spanish

In addition about a dozen or two minor new features, and about 100 or more bugs fixed.
