His vessel is the Eurodam, he was initially going to join her today in San Diego but asked for and was granted extended leave so he will join her next Monday after her six day sailing across to Hawaii.

Would have loved to have sent him that link if I'd known about it earlier but I believe his flight from Heathrow to LA took off a little over an hour ago.

If he gets in touch tomorrow before the flight to Hawaii I'll certainly forward it to him

Flying Heathrow to LA. That is one lo-o-ong flight. There's not a lay over on the east coast?

I once flew from Frankfurt to LA and yes, that's a long flight (especially since the plane back in 2001 didn't have an inflight entertainment system...).

No, his lay over is in LA, the flight to Hawaii being the following day.

EDIT: Just used my tracking software and it would appear she is currently nearing Hawaii
