Default Game Over : What shall I do next ?

Hi everyone.

I'm having a morale issue with SH3 and I would like to hear about your opinions about this.

Situation : I have been sunk by a submarine grenade while engaging a convoy in the North Sea between Norway and Britain in December 1939 with a high renown account and a hardened crew, my sub was a Type VII.

Despite being a perma-death games enthusiast, I really don't know what to do next and this is where I need your opinion : Shall I delete my failed campaign and restart another one or just try again ?

Hermansen.

I always play Dead-Is-Dead, unless I'm killed by a game malfunction. I like to keep a series of careers going at the same time - one from each available flotilla at the time. If one of my captains dies I start a new career at that same time and place. That way I follow the war from several perspectives.

That said, I've currently been so busy that I haven't had time to play in longer than I can remember. Asking for advice and ideas is fine, but in the long run you have to decide for yourself which method best suits you. There is no right or wrong here.

Like Steve said, dead end unless it was a computer glitch.

Hi everyone and sorry for my late reply.

Since I haven't played the game for weeks ( I had to stomach my failure as the sole responsible for that as a U-Boat commander ), I am now ready to start a new career.

I will start with a Type IIA this time, I would like to thank you for your opinions as hardened Kaleuns, even though I survived up to the early 1944 in my first career, without having encountered a situation like the one that has caused my demise.

By the way, don't you mind if I tell you what has exactly caused my boat to sink ( because I think it's a human error that I have commited while being chased by a Destroyer ).

In SH3, or any game or activity which is not being played competitively, Steve's quote is the ONLY correct answer.

"If you're not having fun, then you're not doing it right. And if you're having fun, then, regardless of what anyone else tells you, you're doing it right."
