Dear all!
Thank you for warm words.

Meantime, news from shipyard are coming
Attachment 1548
At the moment new details of model are ready at 80%, except new 138mm gun Mle 1929 and 37mm AA twin mounts.
In realistic consideration, this new superdstroyer should be ready for loading at the end of September.
Regards.

Texelbo, you are aware there is already a model of the destroyers of the Le Fantasque class (which included L'Audacieux)?
The model includes the 138 mm MLE 1929 and the twin 37 mm.

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...53&postcount=1

Seems we will have soon 2 models of the same class of ships ...

Which of the both will be the best ?

Texelbo, if you abandon your project on L'Audacieux, you may do even a better model for the french navy : a french cruiser !!

@Texelbo,

the intention of my comment was not to make you give up the project. Do what you like.
There are no many people left doing new models for SH3. So, to me making two models of the same ship it is a lost opportunity to make another one.
All new parts you did for L'Audacieux could be used to create Mogador and Volta. No waste of work and energy plus another great model

Well, that's my opinion.

@Fahnenbohn,

consider to mark L'Adroit and Bourrasque as done. JCK410 did a model several years ago; all big mods have that model included.

Someone once started a model of Tourville and I contributed the turrets. However, the main model never grew beyond the mesh of the plain hull.

So, gentlemen, I'm considerd situation during weekend and decided:
- finish 'Le Fantasque' asap
- check my next targets thorough community:
1. Aviso 'Bouganville' class.
2. DE 'Melpomene' class
3. DD 'Hardi' class.
Hopefully, those ships are small enough to be done in reasonable timeframe.

The Fantasque-L'Audacieux is almost ready and based on common files from the Library.

Also, some French Navy planes are under consideration.

In additional, I'm created a lot of French ports all around the world - in Africa, Madagaskar, TerNew, West-India, Levant... If somebody intersting it them - I'm ready to share.

Regards

Salute! Texelbo!
Nice program and your ships are very nice...Great work!
Just one little question, if I may, Often when you want to add a ship to your game, you need to add info in the English name, or French. name etc... file. I did not see any read-me with the details for that purpose. Or Am I wrong?
Merci and good luck with your work.
