If it was built for VS?

It needs a lot of work.

Parts need removed,
(Unless you want the interiors stuff)
it needs to be flipped and reduced in size.
And broken up to match SH4 parts used.
It also probably uses multiple images for it 'Skin'
So those need redone and the parts UV mapped.
And depending on polys?
Maybe a run through an optimizer.
(Don't use 3D Max for this!)

I know for TSWSM purposes, we need the bridge. other than that, not much of the interior is to be kept(for now). We will need the guns, and we are going to skin it ourselves.

I imagine many of the guns are already done for other ships. The 16/45s are obviously unique.

Ise also used 5.5/50s. I think all the other BBs used the 5/40DP mount as well, so that should be ready in guns_radars, as are all the Type 96 varieties.

This will be a really exciting thing to see.

My Clanmate AOTD|Rhonen is working on this unit.

All Parts are converted to Obj.-files and they are includet into a Dat.-file.
The biggest problem here are the numbers of the texture-files.
The origin Modell from Modelship got 5 textures.
This unit got real glass, so you are able to look into the bridge behind the steering wheel.

We try to make an new Guns.dat for this unit.

Its alot of work and in this case we cant release the ship until Christmas.
Maybe we are able to publish first pictures of the swimming ship until christmas.

She works fine but its to soon for release cause we have to test her a little bit more.

Hope that everybody like the work and i hope that my mate did it right with your Model dear Modelship !

Nice, though that texture needs a bit of work so that it blends in better with the other ship skins of the game. I know you guys are still working on it, so I realize you probably have taken something like this into account.

Hi MadMax!

were nice models and valuable addition to SH! Don't you think that basements for upper main turrets of Qeen Elisabeth should be largger? Right now they lokk too thin.

With your permission, if we could edit and then use this in TSWSM that would be great!

Nice so far.
However.
There appears to be many faces that need detached to correct the
in Game Smoothing.
(Note the weird 'Shadow' effect on some parts.)
Much like parts of Von Dos's unit's for SH3.
This is NOT to put the work down, and is My own personnal observation!
And I'd be happy to explain further!!

Hi Privateer,

we will release her until christmas !
Maybe we got these shadow-effects fixed but if we didnt get it there should be a possibility to fix it later in a second edition by you ?
We had a lot of work with this unit and my knowledge for these things is not strong enough !

The best way to make the shadows is with the 3d program to generate the occlusion maps. That is my understanding.
