Default Mod questions: Periscope length/sub armor

I've recently been tooling around with the Titan Superfortress normandy skin, and it is one SERIOUSLY OP barge of goodness. In fact, a little bit too much... I did the Battle of Midway and was able to sail in, administering death to whoever I deemed fit, and never once did I take even a sliver of hull damage. Even when those kickass Kongos were wailing on me. I kind of want at least a LITTLE bit of risk involved with an attack instead of having the freedom to surface in the middle of a convoy with no consequence. That leads to my first question: Where are the values for such armor and HP located, and how do I go about lessening those? If you could be as thorough as possible, I would appreciate it.

My second question revolves around lengthening the periscope. When destroyers make a depth charge run on the Titan, their keep usually ends up slamming into the conning tower, which is funny the first time, but it completely removes the danger of being depth charged since the destroyer can't pull off the run. So, my second question is where are the values for periscope length located, and how do I go about changing those?
