Default U-boote U-530 and U-977. The Naval Intelligence Files

We wrote this one for ElSnorkel.com.

The text is in spanish, but the documents (straight from NARA) are all in English.

Here is the link for the interrogation report for U-530 from uboatarchive site.

When I was a kid I remember reading an old ratty paperback about u977 and how she schnorkeled her way to Argentina rather than surrender to Allied forces after Germany's surrender.

Quite a feat for both boats.
