Default Escorts in gwx

Hello I have a question I heard that in from 1939 to like 1941 convoys have no escorts are very little but i found convoys near gibraltar with like 5 escorts

It is true that in GWX one may encounter a non escorted convoy but this is likely to happen early in the war and certainly not near Gibraltar. In 1941? No. By my reckoning that would be totally unrealistic.

The number of escorts is random for randomly created convoys with a randomly drawn number of units. There is at least one escort per convoy (one escort with a 100% likelihood of appearing) at the start of the war, but sometimes more, with more escorts as the war goes on.

You can check the details in the Campaign_RND.mis file. The Campaign_SCR.mis file has scripted events.
