It dives in 10 seconds ? I think the fastest a u boat could dive was 40 seconds or so.
Also there is no Water flowing from the drainage holes when it hits a wave or is submergeged for a short while.. It seems to me its only animated when the boat is surfacing i guess?

I agree that dive time is way too fast. Something they will hopefully adjust in the Beta - or provide some realism settings for it.

I'm not sure if the development focus is on the 'simulation' genre or some other game genre. Maybe the modders will have fun with this. There will be no time compression so I assume the focus is on crew management and psychology within a form of subsim.

We will find out in some weeks or days.

The buoyancy doesnt seem right. The stern goes up in the air when it dives. The camera seems a bit too fixed on the submarine, it does not look natural.
Look at the diving sequence of a german uboot in ww2:

Slow and steady sinking without added bouyancy:

It's obviously time compressed. The rapid movement of the ocean surface is a dead giveaway.

Quote from nihilcat on Steam regarding clip:

"...Part of this video is cut out. In game it's 30-40 seconds at best, usually more due to bad weather, slow speed of the boat etc."
