Default settings for US torpedoes

Hello everyone,

is there possible to set the default exploder type for US torpedoes that will be used after a certain date (i.e 24 June 1943)?

I would like to use only contact exploder in my torpedoes after this date as it was ordered by Lockwood (COMSUBPAC).

I tried to edit the US_torpedoes.sim file, but the changes were not visible - there are still 2 exploder types to choose from.

At least i would like to set the contact exploder as the only one available for newer US torpedoes types like MK18.

Maybe i need to edit another file?

I got help from Bubblehead1980 and he explained me that after certain date the magnetic exploders in US torpedoes will be inactive. Sorry for bothering You guys.
