Apart from very few movements most depot ships are port bound so very little use in game unless you script then in yourself and then attack ports.

Of more use are the drop in units that show without any additional work needed

I agree with bigboywooly. Still talking about ship classes scarcely represented in SH games, maybe more useful could be a few (more) models of Armed Merchant Cruiser, CAM ship, MAC ship, Q-ship, ASW Trawler, Submarine Chaser, Patrol Craft Escort and Patrol Craft Escort (Rescue), Patrol frigate, Patrol Yacht and Patrol Yacht (Coastal). Especially during the early part of the conflict, those inexpensive vessels often converted from requisitioned merchant ships and boats, were the backbone of Atlantic convoy defenses, but only a few ship classes of them have been modelled in game, and some types are represented just by generic and rather basic models.

Well, while waiting for future releases, i'd like to launch a pool for you:

Which italian battleship class do you prefere between Duilio\Doria and Cesare\Cavour?

NOTE Duilio's main guns supports and funnels need to be a little reproportioned. This was a 2008 circa model. Work in progress..

Best regards,
Vd

Can we say both?

The Caio Duilio/ Andrea Doria-class was an evolution over the preceding
Conte di Cavour-class. Only superstructure and secondary armament seem to have changed among the two classes, but the hull design looks almost identical.

Hi Gap!
Yes, main difference was secondary\anti aircraft armament:
Cavour\Cesare was "old syle", with six binate anti ship turrets, while Doria\Duilio was based on Littorio's new configuration, with 10 single 90mm turrets for a\a and 4 more turrets as "true" secondary armament. Also Duilio hasn't 8x100mm.

BTW, i've hardly reworked Duilio, now more realistic, proportioned, and more historically correct.
You can see both class here:

Release soon... They're not finished.
Best regards,
Vd

The '19 rework of RM Caio Duilio's '40 refit

I see the "usual" smoothing problems near the bow, or it is just my impression?

Yes and no.
There's a little smoothing, yes, but i've tryed to rework 3d model\shadows according to real ones. As reference, you can see Duilio's b\w photo into last poster.

Best regards,
Vd

Okay, ignore my previous comment if bow smoothing is as intended
