@the general

Yeah, thx. Everything ok in real life, but still a lot to do there and no time for modding. I for myself also think there has to be a tool like S3D for Sh5! Otherwise the modding scene will calm down and go to sleep. I see no clue to mod for a game which is abondoned by most subsim players. So... if there are amounts of modders who wanna create something and also have time... then there might be some new life to Sh5... but if it will go this way.. time will tell.
Without decent moddings tools I see no future!

We will see in a few months where Sh5 will go... if there is progess, somebody want to finish my work and I have no time, I might release it unfinished.
If I have time and the mod community is on the road again, I will again take a seat in my car and drive that road too

everyone has access to the perfect modding tool, the hex editor! Learn the files and you can do just about anything with it Tools don't help you learn, they do the opposite (they make you forget since you don't practice your skills)

For me they can´t make me forget because I never could work with hex editors Also the time issue comes in my way!

There are adaptations to S3D being done.
Tools that do mass adjustments to needed files is also being worked on.
It will take time as I'm only one person.
I also need to finish learning a few things.

It's to early to say when you will have all the Tools needed.
But they are being worked on.

Hansolo do you still plan on work on this in the future? Its a shame if you wouldnt. This stuff has great potential. Why not give it to another modder if you dont have the time to work on it anymore.

Hi Oscar!

I think I will soon restart work here... I do not know if I will make changes to alle the harbours I mentioned in the start thread. Maybe I will only make changes to some 2 or 3 more harbours and add an additional bridge.

I did not play Sh5 for some time now and did never make it through the blockade of Germany so I do not really know from which harbours you will really start.

Maybe some could help me out?

I think you should only do the bases that the players uses throughout the campaing. When you start working again on the band and nurses in port maybe you could have a truck near the pear as well. I think someon was working on a truck for at base.

Yeah, a static truck should also be possible...

Can you tell me which bases are used by the player?

Kiel , Lorient , wilhemshaven brest as well i think. I,m not sure since i havent played all through the campaign. Must not forget la spezia. A truck with a mercedes logo in front would be cool and a couple of patrolling soldiers would even be cooler.

Hi folks!

An update I have to post to the progress of this mod....
Unfortunately I do not have the time and power to finish this mod like I wanted.
So... to let the people who play Sh5 still have the chance to get some more nice candies to harbours I will release this mod unfinished.
Unfortunately I had to reformat my gaming pc and I do not really know how much progress I backed up but surely 90% of my work should be there.
I will have a look into the files this evening and tomorrow and then release my work.

Unfortunately my video card (ASUS HD 5870) was damaged, I'm talking with support from Asus for RMA.

Hi folks!

Unfortunately I have some bad news... as I started this mod I had SH5 V1.1 and everything I created and tested was on this version.
Now as I formated my harddrive and installed Sh5 1.2 again I tested if the mod works as expected on the weekend.
Now the bad thing... all terrain updates I made.. hours of work seems gone.
Also the 3d structures did not appear in the game. But I think this could be because a new campaign has to be started.
Nevertheless... I am done with testing and working on this mod.
Maybe someone can make the terrain changes working or add the band, the Kiel monuments and the Kiel bridge to SH5 1.2.

Hi guys!

So... after I realized that a few months after the wip release of my work nobody wanted to complete the mod for Sh5 1.2 and I wanted to test some mod compilations like the one from TDW I decided to rework my mod and make a new start... so far I got all 3D models for the Kiel harbour...

the next one is the band and the nurses for the harbours.
