Time, bah. Somebody should go and strangle time until it ceases with its incessant meddling...

There will be a flight if we get people. I'll be along in about half an hour or so.

Speed differences between an I-153P and a Hs-123 are compared.

Task Force manages to clog his opponents engine with peas

And in his enthusiasm (read gun-sight vision) almost rams another 109

Task Force vulches because I forgot to give the Republican airfields AAA, whilst Raptor slices some cheese.

Raptor taxis past the Lolwaffle staging area on his way to a hangar

Raptor finds his hangar.

I knew I should be more careful when I find an empty hanger in an airfield that's supposed to be completely packed with aircraft...

Actually it doesn't if you do a nice gentle landing.

If any mod doesn't change the landing gear thing then you can do pretty rough landings without breaking the 109's gears.

As long as you are somewhat level/nose up on landing there should be no problems. Nose down however tends to break the gears quite easily.

Right, I've thrown together a quick mission for today, bomber mission for Cartagena. Only one bomber available, so someone will be the pilot and the rest the gunners. Will you need the guns? Possibly, it's a night flight but there might be something over Cartagena...that's if you get past Cartagena, the Republicans know that it's an important spot and filled it with flak guns.
The phrase 'carpet of flak' might not be inappropriate.

Anyone else got any missions?

What's all this 'you' stuff? Where will you be while we're being murdered by flak?

And wasn't there supposed to be a breakthrough mission by now?

The breakthrough has happened, but the Condor Legion, Italians and Spanish are dealing with it, Mercenaries only get called out when something breaks down, goes wrong, there's no-one else, or in this case, a German bomber crew comes down with a bad case of the squits after eating a bad paella.
After all, it's cheaper to use standard pilots (particularly 'volunteers') over extortionately priced mercenaries, isn't it?
However the front is moving.

I think you got it wrong. We don't get called out when stuff breaks down or goes wrong; stuff breaks down or goes wrong when we get called out.

I've mostly given up on making missions for this campaign since I have no idea what the hell is going on, so I'll start doing them for the next campaign. When are we going to move on to the next campaign?

Probably best to do it ASAP, I think people are getting bored of this one.
