I thought this worth posting since it's pretty funny. It's from the WoT Forums:
Top Ten Things My Commander Should Be Saying Instead of "Another shot like that should finish him off" Tank Commanders Who Can't Subtract: "Another shot like that should finish them off" Some suggestions about what he should be saying instead: 10) Our next shot is probably just going to bounce you know. 9) Another couple of shots like that and he might notice we are firing at him (and kill us in exactly two shots). 8) 15 more shots like that and we'll have him... minus any bounces, misses, ricochets, critical hits and pass-throughs of course. 7) I need another drink 6) I've an idea, lets get out and throw rocks at him instead. 5) Wake me when he's dead. 4) 14 more shots like that and he'll be at 3%.. and you just know someone else is just going to get credit for the kill. 3) I know mounting a potato-gun on a tank sounded funny at first, but now Im starting to regret it a little. 2) He's in the Danger Zoone! 1) We hit him! We hit him! We hit him!! I know it wasn't for much damage, but we HIT HIM!!!! SOURCE |

Finally got my KV-3!
Now i have to upgrade turret, suspension so i can mount 107mm. And not looking forward to being matched against tier 9 and 10's. I've heard that the KV-3 continuously gets matched in that bracket. The time for easy kills is almost over now. The kv-3 is slower than the kv, although i gain hp due to it's extra armour. Now the looong grind for the IS! |

had that happen once in Red Orchestra: Darkest Hour Me(gunner) and Taskforce(driver) where in a Sherman Jumbo with the Derp gun shooting at a distance far away I couldn't identify what it exactly was but it was German and recently a King Tiger was reported by the Team so after seeying a couple of my shells bouncing off I asked Task Force ''Mmm...must be the King Tiger they've reported'' No said Taskforce that's a Jagdtiger since we're still alive and seems that the Jagdtiger either hadn't spotted us yet or just didn't bother I just kept shooting till after about 15 shots bouncing of from him he finally got annoyed with us and finished us off with 2 shots HunterICX

Who here drives a Löwe?
I bought one the other day and have been playing it non-stop. It's a rolling ATM on tracks, making on average anywhere from 35 to 60K Credits and approx. 300-1400 (highest so far) XP. It has it's weak spots, but for grinding for my IS and i'm sure future upgrades it is getting me there very quickly. Would be interested to see how you guys use it in battles. I use mine as a Sniping vehicle at the outset of battle. Depending on how the battle progresses and unfolds, I either advance behind the first line and provide support to either soften up targets or to provide the killer blow, or, if the battle is not going well, stay in snipe mode, covering the base and/or arty. The Löwe is not meant to be taken out solo, no way should you be caught out by yourself, you'll be toast very quickly. It should also not be used to spearhead an assault. I find that my method serves me fairly well, although i can write off some losses due to the incompetence of my team mates. As Modules i have the spall liner, optics and gld mounted, with crew at 100% and learning repairs, fire in that order, and currently at 47%. I'm loving the Löwe, this thing is a cash machine, and along with my Marder 2 will be in my garage, never to be sold. Here's my Löwe: |

Hey all, I'm Pyrolosis, or just Pyro for short. I am an ex-Tanker with the U.S. Army, been out 10 years now. But I can still remember the smell of the turret and all the sounds of my Abram's. Anyways I been playing WoT since beta, got up to a Tiger and Jagdpanter but with the restart I am now in a modest A-20 and Marder 2.
Anyways, I was wondering if any of you have a clan going that I could join or a TS channel. I have been a member of subsim for a while now but honestly have not been very active. Well that's about it. Just thought I drop in and say heya. |

I'm not in a clan but i'm sure some of the other guys on here might be. You can also look for a clan that may suit you, here: http://forum.worldoftanks.com/index....ng-for-a-clan/ and here for Clan-related stuff: http://forum.worldoftanks.com/index....e-round-table/ What server are you on? Do you get more credits and XP from battles with higher tier Tanks?
I ask as im currently playing away with my BT-2 and am only picking up about 2,000 to 3,000 credits and about 150XP on a good battle.

150XP is low. So I guess you do get more XP in higher tier tanks but not as stark as the credit making difference.

The area where you generally make the most credits is in T-IV to T-VI where shell cost and repairs are low but credit making is still fairly high.
Also, Feuer you sound like you've got the basics down pat!

I would think so yea.
I had a noob call me gutless and that my grandmother could have more guts than me because in Sand River map i was perched on the top side with sniper mode right at start of battle, and he was pissed because i was camping and not heading the attack or rushing blindly, or rather lumbering blindly into an ambush right at the start of the battle! He obviously has no clue about how to play a heavy, least of all the Löwe. EDIT: Finally got my in battle hud to look the way i want it: I could have removed the tank damage management box all together but chose to leave it transparent. Ingame clock now, so i know when to go to the toilet Last edited by Feuer Frei!; 08-06-11 at 11:07 PM. |
