@Gspector: Same goes for me, whats fun about flying a B-17 and not be able to drop bombs and not beeing shot at by Flak...
but....if you have Track-ir, a Saitek X52, rudder pedals and a very comfy leather seat (all I dont have) I wouldnt mind to just fly a big bird like that HunterICX

And yet the glass canopy stays intact
They should've built the whole plane out of that. |

Wow, is there a trick to get that kind of damage? I've lost parts but most of the time my plane looks great excepts that it smokes from damage to the engine area but I do not recall the last time I ever saw a scratch or a hole in my aircraft despite the poor performance after getting to close to flak.
As for the Canopy, I've had my fare share of holes in it when looking out.

Died did he?
Bigglesworth had some close calls during his current career. A flight accident almost cost him his life, when he happened to clip his left wing at a pole during take off. Had to stay in hospital for 19 days. The Jerries are becoming a real pain in the arse, twice they've jumped us with formations 10+ against our squads of 3-4. Overwhelming odds has caused heavy losses for RFC-54 in the early months of 1917. Another Fokker Scourge is afoot, I think.

Those dirty Fokkers just keep on coming don't they? Ground fire got Sulley a few months ago after 11 missions.
