@Gspector: Same goes for me, whats fun about flying a B-17 and not be able to drop bombs and not beeing shot at by Flak...

but....if you have Track-ir, a Saitek X52, rudder pedals and a very comfy leather seat (all I dont have) I wouldnt mind to just fly a big bird like that

FSX with Shockwave's WWII Fighter Pack. P51, Spitfire, P47, 109E and Zero.
The image looks awesome but is there any real campaign mode to FSX with these Aircraft. I prefer to use the Aircraft in combat as apposed to just flying around like in some airshow or just fly cross country.
No, no mission that I noticed of. And FSX doesnt model shooting guns. But I have to take back everything bad I've said about MFS series' flight model. It's brilliant! The 109 is a real joy to fly, bank to one wing and when turning the joystick to the other side, it feel lighter (or vice verca, cant remember). Go into a dive, pick up loads of speed and start to pull the stick, it's HEAVY! And not like in IL2 or the other sims, it's not just how the planes feel heavy on your screen, with a FF joystick, you really have to pull the stick.

PS. Oleg, any chance to get those things for BoB:SoW? Pleeeeease!

''Look what he did to my poor B-239!''

(somehow this was the result of an mid-air collision)

And yet the glass canopy stays intact

They should've built the whole plane out of that.

Wow, is there a trick to get that kind of damage? I've lost parts but most of the time my plane looks great excepts that it smokes from damage to the engine area but I do not recall the last time I ever saw a scratch or a hole in my aircraft despite the poor performance after getting to close to flak.

As for the Canopy, I've had my fare share of holes in it when looking out.

Died did he?

Bigglesworth had some close calls during his current career.

A flight accident almost cost him his life, when he happened to clip his left wing at a pole during take off. Had to stay in hospital for 19 days.

The Jerries are becoming a real pain in the arse, twice they've jumped us with formations 10+ against our squads of 3-4. Overwhelming odds has caused heavy losses for RFC-54 in the early months of 1917. Another Fokker Scourge is afoot, I think.

Those dirty Fokkers just keep on coming don't they? Ground fire got Sulley a few months ago after 11 missions.
