Was a tad messy missions, atleast from my point-of-view.
First sortie, I was tasked to escort Stukas or Heinkels, gave them the finger and headed with my flight to the allied airfield to catch the landing Blennies who attacked one of my bridges. Raptor was kind enough to use his nav lights & smokes so I saw him from afar and lined up to bounce him. Got a good burst on him, looped around and flew past him and saluted as he was crashlanding. Some twut AI shot his plane while on ground, so no kill for me. Spotted 2 C47's over the airfield and bagged them, I think I got another blennie too as my total score was 60pts. Anywho, I was out of ammo and headed back to base. Nice smooth landing. Parked my plane and saw 4 dots coming from the west, at first though they were my flight but then the AA started to fire. SCRAAAAMBLEEE!!!! Off I went and got immediately jumped by AI and I think Fincuan(?). Got hit after hit, and just as I pressed the bail out key, my pilot got hit... tossers... The second sortie began with me chasing Raptor over St.Vith, later on catching up his Blennie and peppering him full of holes. I think I downed few frenchies too, but along came Hunter in his Hurricane and ruined my day. My plane took some damage I think as it started to feel glumsy, so I headed for the clouds and bailed out. |

:p Well, I must say the fist sortie was rather O.K, took the stuka's long enough to show up so I could have a shot at them. the 2nd sortie, flying into that slaughterhouse dominated by the 109's I was looking around me to find a suitable target, tried to chase some but failed to catch up and didnt want to lose my altitude advantage by chasing these diving 109's far away where other 109's where present as well chasing 1 hurricane/spitfire, till I saw a lone one chasing a smoker. getting closer I noticed a different skin from the default.. well look we have there closing on his six till his plane got big enough I decide to ruin his chase, and succeded making him bail out..but the AI wasnt happy with that and made me pay dearly on my way home by shooting off some parts of my Hurricane. landed roughly tearing the aircraft apart but still alive. Bollocks... anyone can shed any light on last night's sorties? I honestly cant remember anything, except I was lost at one point and was circling one spot for a good 5minutes before I decided that maybe it's best to stop and take a heading somehere.

I recall you getting impatient in a Spitfire, overtaking me and Hunter, taking off on the taxi-way, stalling and then (in my view anyway) exploding in mid-air
