Attention all you Brits out there!

I picked up a copy of BOB2 for £10 in Game - this game rocks.

Have a look at these bomber formations

On our way to the target

Things getting hairy ou there

How many planes?

I was a bit loathe to get BOB2 since I got the first one...but looking at that...it's a completely different sim, isn't it?

And did I hear someone say that you could let the computer handle the strategic side to it, and just be a pilot at a certain airfield having to sortie out to raids?

Would be pretty cool to assign myself to Manston...hell, would certainly have my work cut out!!

You can get as involved as you want. You are limited in which planes you can fly: Spit, Hurricane,ME109,JU87, after that you can be a gunner in the bigger German Bombers. But for £10 it's well worth the money.

And the formations are awesome

Bah! You've seen nothing yet! :p Come back when you get to the big fights! Here's pic from one intercept sortie, the germans had atleast 3x more bombers than I had fighters to fight them.

Seriously though - it's the formations that make this game what it is, and also it's got a better (but alas shorter) campaign than CFS3 IMO

I'm loving it - you might not hear from me in a while - all those British factories, airfields etc to attack

Default Do not adjust your set...

Yes, you really are seeing this, that's my Fairey Battle just having downed a bf 109E..

That'll teach the cheeky Hun blighter not to mess with me, note the appropriateness of my squadron code letters by the way as I perform a slow roll over his smoking wreckage...

Home in time for tea and toasted crumpets, cooked on a hastily created barbecue made from a 55 gallon oil drum...

Jolly good show chaps, carry on...

Lots of groovy add-ons here Steed, including the good old Fairey Battle. Remember to hold down control and alt when you click the downloads if you are on XP, or you might have difficulty getting the links to work.
