SSN 21 seawolf model 3ds

found 6 FREE 3ds model of a few subs including the SSN-21 Seawolf by Sulikat (which I uploaded on my filefront page if anyone is interrested)

Here's the list (link at bottom of page)

01 : nuclear sub USS Ohio

02 : type VIIB sub

03 : Seehund midget submarine

04 : French Nuclear submarine "Le Redoutable"

05 : the original Jyunsen B - OTSU_I19 - the one I used :

06 : Neger human torpedo

I guess so, I didn't look at them yet as I am busy finishing my Jyunsen B.

You'd need to open them in 3ds, uv map the model if it's not already done, and export it to a .obj file, then import it with S3D and replace one existing sub or make it stand alone.

btw : I edited the first post with the pictures of the models, at least there you don't have to pay for them !

The 4th sub is already a playable sub.
It is from Dagon and its name is Le Roudable.

maybe if you import the file (I'll see just now) in any.dat

Actually if I could play one, it would be the Seehund, a very efficient design.

looks less detailed than the model I received for my Jyunsen B mod, although the same basic stuff is common to both

then there is the size issue :

I don't think the neger was that big....

so free also means lack of details... shoot...

Ok, I opened it in 3ds, scaled it by hand (no measures) so that it would have the same size as my Jyunsen B hull (which is nearly identical to a november nuclear boat) rotated it so it woudl face the right way, placed it so the bridge would be at the same height, made a uv map, and exported the ship to a .obj file.

This file you can import directly in any sub . dat using S3D.

btw I'm looking for WWII italian submarine 3d models (they went to the indian ocean apparently...)

These models are really low-poly and not all that detailed (low sub-d, too). Good for game importation I suppose. But what do you expect for free?
