Congrats! You'll get a lot out of it.
For the u-boats, I can never remember if the TDC on the attack map needs to be in the off or on position. I always have to flip the switch and see if the AoB on the scope is leading the target or just replicates the current bearing. Other than that, I always hit what I'm aiming at. In some repsects, it feels like the German method is simpler. I defintiely like the salvo option.

When SH3 players just couldn't form a mental picture of how the American TDC works. They explained that it was so different they just couldn't wrap their brains around it. Now that I'm dealing with the German TDC, I finally understand what they were talking about. This will take some time!

As manual targeting goes, i had an easier time with it in the US TDC then the German one. Not sure why that is. The biggest adjustment for me was firing salvo's/ fan shots. Now its just second nature to me.
