Default Explanations of various random unit/group properties?

Random Group Properties:
Speed, heading, entrance and exit dates are pretty self explanatory, but what about some of the other settings?

Max Group Instances Created: 10,000 is a common value, does this mean that it serially counts the groups created, and stops after 10,000?

Max Number Of Units In Random Group Instance: 100 is a typical value, is this the max number of units spawned by this random group on the map at one time? Ie: I set the repeat interval to 1 hour for a 10 ship convoy at 100% probability, and on the 11th hour it spawns no more ships until some reach their last waypoint and disappear?

Repeat interval seems self explanatory, that's the number of hours between probability checks (the next entry) to see if it makes a new group.

Contact automatic report (Min): Time between checks to send the player a contact report that this has been spotted by a friendly unit? -1 is "never" I assume.
Probability (%): self explanatory.
