That must be confusing to folks who don't live in the area or tourists, UK rounabouts are left traffic, and that centre "Island" is right traffic. Looks simple on the overhead view, but I bet a little intimitating at street level for someone who's never seen it before.

I never understood what was up with the lack of rotaries in the US. They're so incredibly good at decreasing traffic jams that it's a joke.

We have a roundabout (or rotary) right here in Jackson, MS. (We call it a doughnut, however.) It's right outside the airport and without it traffic would be backed up for miles every day, especially during peak driving times.

Some of the correct and more intersting answers to the survey questions

1. In WWII, which US sub sank the most Japanese subs?
The USS Batfish, with 5 IJN subs, currently a museum piece in Muskogee

2. In Silent Hunter I, how many kids did the skipper have and what were they, sons/daughters?
Two daughters AND A BABY, judging by the AND 6 MONTHS distance between their polka dots on their dresses, I presume ages six and four.

3. What is one technique a US sub skipper could employ to avoid detection by destroyer?
Run slow and deep, change thermal layers and zig zag.
Ask for silent running
Keep 5000 yards away from them
Join the Marines.

5. Which US sub commander sank five Japanese destroyers?
Sam Dealey, USS Harder. He was a Texan so I knew Neal would put a question like this on the test.

6. What did Bernard leave in torpedo tube #5?
I'm going to guess it was either his inflatable dutch wife, the cook or my personal favourite, Training torpedoes
A Bible

all the crews dirty laundrey he was supposed to wash
Ask Tomsen, it took him three hours to clean out!!!

amputated leg
the captains pet iguana
red triangle, everyone knows that!

his service record, he was hoping to jettison it

8. During the Battle of the Philippine Sea, which two US subs sank which two Japanese carriers?
The Albacore (SS-218, not AGSS-569) fired upon and sunk the Taiho, and the USS Cavalla sunk the Shokaku

Cavalla and Albacore, another question Neal would use since he is a volunteer on Cavalla in Galveston!

9. Name one thing that was good for morale in Silent Hunter III.
Sinking the enemy! Well, it always made me feel better.
the good docter
promotion (grade up)
Ample supplies of playboys, twinkies and USO sponsored Villiage People performances...
music playing

10. Name one of the Barb crew who blew up the Japanese train.
William Hatfield, who rigged the trigger for the explosive
Markuson

Link on Train operations

11. In Silent Hunter III, which officer gave the player the weather?
The Navigation Officer in vanilla
the nav
Frau Gruppeneuher ze vezzerman und ze singing und dancing llamas of Paris
navigation officer

12. Name two of the programmers of Silent Hunter II.
Dave Bringhurst, Scottt Daley
Troy Heere and Dave Bringhurst
Rick Martinez - Bill Becker (Ed. actually these guys were SH1)
Shaun Storc and Carl Norman... (Ed. these were the producers, not programmers)

13. What did Dick O'Kane attribute the loss of Wahoo to?
The circular run of one of her own torpedoes.
Circular torpedo run, then damage, then Coastal gun, followed by
seaplane attack, followed by sub-chasers, followed by lack of propellor
probably followed by a lot of water being where it shouldn't be...Basically
they were sh*t outa luck...

14. In Silent Hunter I, how many stories high was the tallest building in the coastal cities?
6 at a guess.
3
12, look really closely for signs about mid 90's era japanese porno websites... closer...

Correct answer was 12
