JU88 right wing marking issue

Hi mates,

I'm sure some of you know that issue with the misplaced marking on the right wing of the 'JU88'.
Because it doesn't appear in stock game it wasn't too hard to find the reason of it. I supposed an ID conflict with a modded plane based on 'JU88' and this proved as true. The 'Blenheim' is the wrong-doer. It uses the same object ID for the right wing marking as the 'JU88'.



The marking is at his place now after I fixed this.

sorry for late reply.
Terrapin deleted this mod from UBRS - I suppose because it's related to a donots-stolen-mod, so now I'm uncertain to upload it again.

What do you think, I should do, mates?

Maybe we should investigate who's the true author of the 'Blenheim'. I'm not sure but I can remember I saw it at a Russian web site some weeks ago. I'll have a look for that.

I can not realy understand that. The Fix is for the Ju 88 not the Blenheim. So why not give uns a new download??

Hi mate,

the problem is that the Ju88 issue is caused by an ID error of the 'BlenheimMod'. So you don't get that issue if you don't use this probably stolen mod.

I'll wait for the opinions of the other members, specially terrapin's who deleted this fix from his server. I don't want to make any trouble here by uploading this fix again if it wouldn't be tolerated.

Terrapin, would you host that fix again?

SSB, I think given the current uncertainty, re-releasing your fix with a statement saying that the original author is unconfirmed/unknown is perfectly acceptable.

I mean, you are not calling the work yours - you are simply fixing something that is broken. I'm sure no criticism will be levelled at you.

To find the author though, perhaps ask HanSolo - he has a Blenheim in U-Boat War Ace, so maybe he can advise where he got it from and you can check whether it's the same one? And if so, then maybe he can include your fix (if not already)?

I suspect the skin is the work of donots76.

EDIT: Didn't Vaa do a Blenheim???

Something new about this???
I (we) need this Fix because the blenheim sould take part in the new version of HanSolos War Ace Campain vers. 2.0.
