So, she's all done

just waiting for the paint to go off a bit more before I take the masks off so thought I'd pop these pics up. Photos courtesy of my Greenlaning pal Jim

Keyed the paint with a pan scourer

Degreased with white spirit

And the first paint goes on

We were both a bit worried it was gonna look crap at first but we persevered and it just got better and better with each coat

My mate's Fiesta in the background

So there you have it. An afternoon, 1.5l of military grade paint later and I have a NATO Green Vit with hands and arms to match

Hopefully take her on a Greenlane tomorrow so will get some proper unmasked pics up soon

Get onto old mcbee and tell him you want some car transfers like the ones he gave buna when they met in Texas....he's very affluent so I'm sure he won't mind

This is the second time I have seen a car painted with a roller! Needs a second coat. Don't forget about the wheels.

TBH I'd also persevere asap and do something about the blue interior but she is coming along nicely.

yup, gonna leave it to dry tonight then give it a quick last coat tomorrow. And yeah I really wanna do the interior!

The wheels are gonna be matt black once I get some paint
