Hi everyone,
I've been playing NYGM for the last few weeks but I do miss the water features from GWX, namely the limber holes with streaming water for example. Are there any tried and tested mods for NYGM that offer this graphical add-on? Also, I see there is a 'SH5 water for GWX' mod (or similarly named), is there an equivalent for NYGM too - or one that you would recommend? Finally, if these mods do indeed exist, what order should they be installed? Cheers all! ![]() Px3000

dude i would use M.E.P v3 for your environment and Waterstream+Exhaust Combi V2.3 for GWX3 it says its for GWX but i use it with LSH3 5.1, just apply them seperatly and make sure they dont cause CTDs but i dont see it doing that. i use that one cuz the smoke looks really good and the streams look good as well and they arent for just one uboat either its for all. i use
MEPS cause for SH3 imo is the best and hes coming out with a newer version too that looks even better. i used to be a diehard GWX player but thats the two mods i recommend. goodluck.

Thanks for the quick replies guys!
@Sailor Steve - Yes its been a while, I had no idea that was separate. @drakkhen20 - Thanks for the tip re. MEP v3. I'll uninstall a lot of the additional NYGM files and take it 'back to basics' and try the mod - hopefully it won't CTD. I always used to play GWX Gold but I now like a lot of the NYGM features, however I do miss some of the eye candy so I'm sure these mods will help. Cheers guys! Px3000

Be aware that different environment mods will indirectly affect the NYGM visual sensors settings. This is due to the different ambient light, which the game takes into account ...
Manos therefore developed a special sensors pack for his mod, so that when used with GWX the results are still good. BUt I don't think there is a pack for NYGM. That said, indirectly affecting does not equate to screwing up; it could actually still work well ---> there's just no guarantee of it. So if I was you, I would simply try it with the caveat that you *might* get weird results under certain conditions (f.e. too easy to attack surfaced at night, or whatever). If you like it, then keep it

i do believe that the MEPs does include those fix Files for each of the big "super" mods... well i just checked it and the only fixes are for GWX and WAC4.1 but i do believe itll work just fine.

Makman94 has visual sensors compatibility patches available for the Manos environment with NYGM (they're on his download page for M.E.P - his environments work very well with NYGM).
