Cheap and gas/petrol are two words that can't be in one sentence in the UK.

need some opinions guys!
Firstly, I'm seriously considering respraying the Vit matt black. Should I? Shouldn't I? I have a thing for matt black vehicles lol Secondly, I'm considering some decal options. These are the 3 I've come up with so for as possibilities for the doors. Again, opinions? alternatives? ![]() ![]() ![]() I want her to turn heads! lol Cheers |

You sound a bit like my lad, until recently he wanted to spray his car but now he's thinking of purchasing an Audi TT Quattro all that talk ha stopped.
Get these made into car transfers....I got mine off an American friend at the 2008 SubSim Meet.

I'd say if it's done professionally, by a professional* body spray company, then yes. If it's you and/or your mate who's got a can of matt black from Halfords, then definately not. Ever.
![]() An option I'd recommend is body-wrapping (not to be confused with body-popping ), in my previous life as a domestic appliance engineer we had our vans done by Totally Dynamic in Bradford (more over UK now), it's not cheap but I think it's better than a respray (don't even have to inform DVLA). Check out the link to their website - I also had a Mitsubishi Warrier off them for a weekend with a great wrap of a red-eyed tree frog but can't locate it in their gallery. * Expensive!

The point is I don't wanna spend a lot of cash. Then again it isn't gonna be a bodge job, I'm fairly handy with a spray can after 5 years of RC cars and modelling lol. Having said that, as ridiculous as it sounds I'm kinda leaning towards rollering it having seen the finish you can get http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f16/ho...es-152225.html

He should've painted the TUAMMs too.
A nice finish there, but I have seen some really crap diy paint-jobs before - don't rush it - and that includes the prep!

And the rust ??
I've seen worse on like... my car ![]() ![]() Sand it, put some anticorrosion paint on it and spray paint it with something of the same collor so it holds until you scavange a replacement part from somewhere. But trust me, that part is dead.
