It would really help if that picture had a measure scale on it so we could determine the length, whatever it is it looks fairly intact. I'll update this thread if i hear any more news.

Been following this for a while, don't think it is a u-boat, whilst I don't have a definitive scale for the sonar image it is fairly short, too short to be a VII, IX or XXI. It also shows a flat deck, eliminating type XXIII as they had pretty much no deck, leaving type II's. There were 4 type IID's sunk during operation deadlight, however the image shows a pronounce bulbous deck and although the type II's had a bulbous deck it was much slimmer
