Question Favorite submarine?

I'd like to know what everybody likes. Me personally, I like the 688i, Akula, XXI, II, and the Gato.

You're such a ham.

I don't really have a favorite submarine. But I like how the Type VII boats had a sort of organic look to them from certain angles, and more of a knife-like quality from other angles.

Very good one. I like it.

The VII is ok. I don't like the torp loadout. It looks cool yes. But. If I had a choice between a VII and II, I would take my chances with a VII. I like the XXI the best of U-Boats. Good loadout, no aft tubes, etc..... Great sub the XXI is.

I also favor a Meatball and mozzarella with Parmesan and pepperoni on Italian bread.

I served on destroyers. I don't like submarines at all.

But if I had to choose I'd take Jules Verne's Nautilus.

What?! Sailor Steve is a high up guy on SUBSIM.com and he'd rather sail in a destroyer. That makes no sense.

Did you actually serve on a destroyer? Cuz that's cool anyway.

Btw, I sink lots o destroyers in GWX.

It makes perfect sense as a joke.

Then you're wasting valuable torpedoes and not helping strangle Britain.

Of course not. In the glory days of SHII/DC multiplay I always played the escorts. Of course that was partly because nobody else wanted to. I like ships, all ships, and don't have a favorite, though in my personal gaming I seem to be stuck in the period between 1890 and WW1.

Default My favorite?....

I would have to say the UB-III followed by the UC-III, and then the UE-II. Guten Tag!
