Yet another dope who can't connect...

Hi guys, I'm trying to connect using the in-game multiplayer feature.

I have an account at ubi.com, but when I enter it, the game tells me that the username does not exist. When I try to create one within the game, I get an error.

I don't think the game is being blocked by a firewall or by my antivirus software.

I've posed this question on the ubi forums, but got no response, so I'll try my luck here as well.
