GUI expert wanted ....for help!

Playing OM I've discovered that when having FAT torpedos you can't change the leg(distance) of the ladder. It's fixed to 1600 m.You can't move the indicator/needle.
I have checked the torpedo.sim file ,and there is everything OK. (both distances are present,1600 and 800 m).
With LUT torpedos everything is working just fine.

I'm guessing that the solution is changing a line or two in the menu.ini file to unlock the indicator.
But where it is?
