you wrote Lc I had a similar problem when I first installed ZW's latest mod. When I started the game it would crash with a critical error message Duplication Atmosphere folders or something like that and I started suspecting that I had simply the same folders( I has installed Zw's C2m6 mission twice) already installed in my computer and they were creating a conflict. I searched my game folders which are in C:/prgrams/Lighthouse Interactive/T34 versus Tiger and uninstalled C2m6 and as well I checked in another folder; the C:/Lighthouse Interactive folder which has a default T vsT and there the c2m6 was also installed. I uninstalled it. Then I started my game and it worked perfectly. If Zw's solution does not work just try mine. Uninstall any previous C2m6(whether the members only or the freebie) and check all folders where they could be lodged. Once you have eliminated any such remaining previous download of the last German mission your duplication should be solved. Try and good luck! I wrote Thanks to you ZW i recieved an e-mail with the new update. I installed this update, made a reboot and then the Logo appears "Zeewolf Project Beta Release 2.0" and the game crashes with an critical error message; "Scripts\CommonHitPoints.script line=80, char=1 Today i made a fresh install of TvT with these updates from ZW ZW_Mods Msvcr_Files ZW_MO_T34vTigerUpdate_v1 ZW_MO_T34vTigerUpdate_v1B (35Mb) with the monster KV-85. It worked well too. Then installed ZW_MO_T34vTigerUpdate_v2B (today) and by starting the game this message appeared script manager syntax error: parse error in file "Scripts\CommonHitPoints.script line=80, char=1 |

Conflict Problem
Hello Zeewolf and other members who felt my pain!
All files/folders present and correct. Spent an enjoyable hour or so running 3 missions with no problems - runs as before when first installed. (Possibly I didn't reboot early enough but now I feel stupid as I cannot say exactly what the problem was). Seems stable now. Anyway what you've done so far is essence (my highest accolade BTW) and I am awarding you the Diamonds to the Knights Cross. Kdf: I have unloaded my metaphorical Luger but keeping the schnapps ready to pour on any bugs!! Found some minor stuff already reported by other members, but no show stoppers by any means. Frame rates (on my dual Core 8500) vary between lowest 17 fps to highest average of about 34 fps) CPU load approx 50% or just over when busy so probably my GPU (Nv GeForce 9800GTX+) is a small performance restrictor. I Run Forest animation off AA defaulted off - everything else max. Haven't tried re-ammo yet. This is in no way a criticism, but an observation -troops slightly harder to kill (v good) but still behaving contrary to the laws of natural selection under fire - i.e. they deserve to die Mind you some Russian Units were known to attack in such mindless waves they induced " a melancholy" amongst the German defenders who witnessed this willing suicide! - from War on the Eastern Front by James Lucas Conclusion: Best fun Yet with your trousers on just got better. Zee Thanks for advice and support to date Over and Out Mort (still slaying) |

All ZW Members
Hi Fellow ZW members,
To those of you who have installed Zw's latest, corrected version(2B) of his last release please kindly report your findings on this forum.Even if it's only to say "mission runnign fine no bugs reported".Without all of us reporting/giving feedback ZW is working in the dark. The more bugs/problems we get fixed now the likelier the upcoming Kursk release will be problem-free saving ZW a lot of precious time and savings us from re-installs or repeat downloads. Regards to All |

Hi Panzermänner
Hello toZW and every ZW member!
Yesterday i tried the two missions (1 and 6) with ZWs last update. COOL, much better than before. ZW go on we support you and give some help if possible. (I have something in mind, to gather original sounds from tanks from net.) Some reports, no critsizem. We re going the right way. In mission 1, when opening Map with key, Map showing less detail The second one (but have to check it again) is a little performance loss.( stuttering, maybe i have to uncheck some settings of gc) THE BIGGEST ONE is that ZW tells (shows) us that slowley but surley we advance to Kursk (seen his LOGO) GREAT. It seems that most problems are solved. Thank you all and good collaboration |

Latest release report
Thanks for the very useful report Lc!
Re the stuttering this is something that has been experienced and reported by all.Not much ZW can do about it.TvsT is an FPS guzzler to start with and with ZW´s mod introducing more tanks, vehicles infantry etc it´s bound to slow the FPS down.Mine average 9 to 10 FPS and best case 15 to 17 and yet the game runs fairly smoothly .I simply lowered everything by half (tree animation etc)to avoid freezes.I keep a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 32bit though.Lowering resolution might increase the FPS . The map issue may be related to the one in the last release. We' ll see if others report that problem as well. Onward to Kursk and big tank battles and new tanks to experience. Otyhers care to report? Hi
Hi,
played around, old problem remains with AI driver. He is not able to pull back. Sets brake on, switching very fast in R3 (reverse 3rd gear) and stalls motor. This remains from original game. Frinik thanks to that information about map issue. No more stuttering, it seems i have toplay game two times. I play game in 1280x1024 with all set to max. Runs fast, maybe i have to shut down antivirus or firewall when playing. Quote"Onward to Kursk and big tank battles and new tanks to experience" Dont forget to buy galleons of fuel, this kitty (Tiger) is very thirsty. Looking forward LC |

Mission Report
Lc this issue of switching gears too fast and stalling the engine may
actually be a realistic feature. When I play the T72 in Balkans on Fire and try to shift gears too fast the same thing happens to me.I guess you have to switch gradually R1 then R2 and R3 like in real life or else you may choke your engine. The Tiger were notoriously delicate machines. Anyway small problems like this we can live with(unless they get us killed...) Well enjoy your feline.... I wonder what surprises ZW has in reserve for us with the Kurk release????? |
