Default Teamspeak Hacker

Beware of a player called MaRcO1sh ( I am sure he has other nicks) he is a hacker

He will come onto your teamspeak as a guest and say he is having trouble with his TS and ask you to highlight his name and than right click and than press E. If you do the SOB will hack your Teamspeak....Beware

Ehm, he doesn't really hack, you just fell for the oldest trick in the book.

pressing E while having right-clicked him you will GRANT him Server Admin rights.(making him a TS server admin)
and when he has them he messes around by banning and changing passwords.

Here's a advice from someone who uses TS for ages:

1. When a stranger comes in, well first ask him what's he in for (is he for/from the Sh3 community?)
2. When a stranger asks for help for Teamspeak, if he's not from the community you're from a alarm bell should ring immediatly redirect him to the teamspeak website if you want to be polite but if he keeps pushing I would suggest kicking him from the Teamspeak. If he is from the community as he claims he is help him so he can solve the problem at his end if it doesn't work redirect him to the Teamspeak website or if you have someone on your team that knows more about teamspeak tell him to come back later with the problem. ***NEVER EVER perform actions he describes that you dont know what it does, especially pressing a combination of buttons like ''Right click his nick + press E''***

Thanks Hunter for the explanation and as a reminder to the rest of us not to be so helpful to total strangers.

He can be thankful that I do not know where he lives or he will get a torp where the sun doesn't shine.

Friartuck, given that you are new here, I suggest that you should calm down and let the moderators do their job if you have requested that they be involved.
