As you might have heard the BDG have enabled autogen with many new ground objects in the 2.09 build for Battle of Britain 2. They are now calling for people to help them in the massive task populating the game world. I think this is an ideal opportunity for anyone who always wanted to contribute to a game that is managed by gamers. It seems to be basically about placing the right objects on the right map coordinates until it looks nice, and could be fun too. In any case it requires more love, time and dedication than hard skills.
http://a2asimulations.com/forum/view...p?f=10&t=13108 Have a look at these threads that demonstrates some of the new capabilites of the 2.09 update: http://a2asimulations.com/forum/view...p?f=10&t=13117 http://www.shockwaveproductions.com/...fdb2cf18d269cf ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() BoB2 is really turned into a extraordinary product imo, that promises enjoyment for years to come.

Indeed so, I was buzzing Tangmere last night. Truely a lovely sight to behold. I will have a look over the files, but sadly it looks like it might be a bit much for me to swallow, however I do have a question about the objects.
Is the following building represented? If not, then I think it might be worth requesting it be put in, when I used to live in Kent, Oast houses were just about everywhere, since it was hop farming country, even more so in the 1940s.

I just installed BOB2 just to check out the new features and they
. There are a few areas that need work ( I can't imagine London without a crapload of buildings!) But over all I like the improved look of the game, the buildings look so real. The guys who worked on the patch did one heck of a job.

It's another step, though there now seems to be need for some fps tweaking. In the future I'd like to see night missions (with searchlights) and ground fog, but the new 3D objects add lots to immersion.

Is it just me or is when a ton of smoke / tracers / etc. on screen that this thing slows to a crawl?
I just ordered a 4870 so maybe that will help. -S |
