Viewable Distance Mod

Using RUB 1.45 and finding that the haze for viewing ship hulls and islands (where trees appear in the air until you are almost standing on the land) is surely not very realistic (and that was in fair weather)... I noted that IUB mod has set the visibility to "the horizon" which is likely equally unrealistic. The point, though, being that this value can be adjusted...

So, how knows what file and location for adjusting this value?
