I haven't drunk any of the mentioned pivos, so I can't tell how they taste.
But in general, this is the rule in any (foreign) town. Always go for the local, microbrewery stuff. With one exception: When in Cologne DO NOT order the local beer there. It is toxic horsepee! I repeat do not, under any circumstances, never, ever drink a local beer in Cologne. It is a serious health risk, to your body and your mind! Ok, I admit that I am a little prejudiced, because we have a historic rivalty with them and we brew the better beer... ![]() from the article: Quote:
