Hi shipmates,
I have only 2 pictures of those camo paint scheme and they are pretty bad Anybody here have good pic of them possibly both side could be from Black sea theater of operation?? I would love both side because my boot have a custom UVW template that allow me to texture both side differently. Looking forward for your answer thank to everyone who help i will not forget you in the credits Best regards Hans |

Hi Hans,
There are many photos of type II, but unfortunately I have never seen color. Here are just such pictures might come in handy ... I hope I have correctly understood your request? ![]()

Hi mate, Yes i know this skin i already have play it in GWX superb works but again since the custom UVW template i did for my tYPIIA allow me to paint both side differently because i suspect the camo paint to be different from one side to the other. Just hope i can find a reference if not will do a repetion of the pattern on both side ![]() Best regards Hans |

Sorry I'm not an expert on German submarines! I served in the modern strategic nuclear submarines, that's about it I could tell you about. In the meantime, here are two photos in color. That's all that I found ... ![]()

Thats great hans . Might look into texturing for Ships for SH3. Had attempted to do a reskin mod for SH5, but ended it due to the use of its GR2 file system. Would not allow random skins or full length hull texturing .Looking to do some high resolution skins if possible for sh3 poss 1024*1024 if it supports that size 512*512 if not. Will do them for the stock ones first to get my feet wet Is it easy enough to get the custom template working, I could do that for the ship models to save you time if you want. Pm me if ok Cheers mate. |

Yes it is possible but it requiring a little 3d UVW unwrap knowledge and so far custom template work perfectly fine in game. When i will be less busy i will make a small vid to the point so you can go at it without learning all the interface For ships 1024X1024 is excellent and i always advised anyone to paint your template at higher resolution and reduced it afterward ex: 2048X2048 to 1024X1024 or 512X512. For very large battleship i recommend 2048X2048. Best regards Hans |

![]() Yes. I know type II U-Boats aren't good, but I like them anyway. Why? I'm just different like that. I always have liked smaller things. It's kind of like light tanks if you know what I mean. |

The top one is mine, adapted from Sean's skin for the AI type IIb. I've been trying to upload it here at Subsim Downloads, but for some reason it's not going well.
The bottom one might be found here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...p?do=cat&id=78
